Finally…..a make-up review!

It is getting busy down here at the blog command center and I couldn’t be more excited!  The folks at Studio Gear cosmetics sent me a product to try and I have to tell you about it. It is their CC Cream which does three things; it colors, it covers and it corrects. We women understand this language. And that is pretty cool because when I first got it, I thought it was only a moisturizer. So the first thing I do when I get a new cosmetic is: I try it out on my hand. Don’t we all? Truth be told, I am a bit nervous about trying new things on my face. Not that I have had any bad experiences. Well, that’s not true but that is a story for another day.  And it had nothing to do with a particular product but the person applying it.  Stay tuned…

Anyway, my CC cream arrives in my mailbox and I am excited.  This cream is decadent.  I swab it all over my left hand and when I look down at both hands, voila:  My left hand looks younger (how is that possible?) and has an even tone.  So I go to the bathroom and I do one half of my face.  I know this is weird but it’s a test!  How can I recommend something if I don’t really put it through the ropes?  Anyway, it works!  It cleared up ruddiness that I didn’t even know I had!  In the background I hear “We all knew you had ruddiness.”  Ah, parenting a pre-teen!  Eating a big slice of humble pie on a daily basis!  Maybe that is why I am ruddy?  Humble pie cannot be good for the skin. Well, we all know, no one wants to be ruddy.  And this cream will help you achieve that goal.

I highly recommend that you check out www.studiogearcosmetics.com and start shopping.  And by reading my blog, you can save 10% on your entire purchase.  I am now officially a Studio Gear beauty blogger (among other fabulous roles)!  How cool is that?  And that means we (you and me) will get firsthand information on new products and promotions.   The first thing you should try is the CC cream but there are plenty of other products.  Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.   I have my eye on the complete lip color in burlesque or café au lait.  Go take a look and tell me which one you think I should choose!  When you make a purchase, put MARYM14 in the promotional code!  Happy shopping!

My experiment: the upside: easy to tell which hand has CC cream; the downside: I have no future as a hand model.
